AGARTALA, March 17 (TIWN): Huge quantity of Ganja was seized in Assam Agartala National Highway in the area adjacent to Mungiakami Bazaar under Mungiakami police station on Friday morning.
On the basis of a tip-off, Teliamura sub-divisional police searched a container vehicle numbered MH05AM 2084 and seized 35 packets that is 350 kg of dry cannabis.
Along with this, the police of Mungiakami police station arrested a driver of Bihar state named Bhushan Roy.
The market value of the seized Gaza will be approximately Rs 7 lakh, said the Sub-Divisional Police Officer.
The ganja was reportedly going from Agartala to the state outside.
