AGARTALA, March 7 (TIWN): CPI-M while briefing about the ongoing Violence and attacks in a press meet, a CPIM leader said that Apu Das of Kalamchora area, Jewel Hossain of Kamalnagar area and many others who are involved with various crimes are now become leader of BJP in Sonamura. The senior CPIM leader alleged that the miscreants are attacking on public’s houses and snatching gold ornaments from women. It is alleged several cases have already registered against the miscreants but the Police are not detaining them.

Over the terrorism, CPIM raised finger on the role of Police-Administration and said that Public are not getting minimum help from the Police-Administration. The senior leader in the press meet said that Police should take initiative to provide security in the Violence-Prone area but it is alleged the Police yet have not taken any initiative.

Also it is alleged that Miscreants gave death threat to Sonamura Assembly Constituency’s MLA Shyamal Chakraborty along with other CPIM leaders.
