UDAIPUR, March 4 (TIWN): BJP’s Matabari constituency first time winner candidate Abhishek Debroy who visited an affected CPI-M worker’s house on Saturday claimed that CPI-M will not come to power in next 50 years. Abhishek Debroy addressed media when he visited Prasenjit Sarkar’s house in Bhadrapara under R.K.Pur which was set on fire yesterday night. In that fire, 11 cattle died. Reacting to the incident, Debroy said, “CPI-M is already finished. In Udaipur, CPI-M has left no ruins. They have vanished. CPI-M will not come in next 50 years”.
BJP has come to power with 33 seats along with its partner IPFT. CPI-M and Congress secure 14 seats in alliance and Tipra Motha, a regional party turned the single major opposition with 13 seats without any alliance.
Tripura Election was held on February 16 and the result was declared on 2nd March. Statewide violence are being reported and attacks are being held which affected ruling and opposition both parties workers. However, Tripura police claimed, no violence happened in Tripura so far in contrary to the ground reports gathered from political parties.
