AGARTALA, Feb 22 (TIWN): CPI-M State Secretary Jitendra Chowdhury in a note on his social media page alerted the netizens not to believe in fake tickets in various leaders’ names circulated on social media.
“A group of miscreants are spreading fake information on social media and has created fake tickets with various leaders’ names. I appeal to the public not to believe in such rumours and also not to get engaged in such fake-information mongering works”, said Jitendra Chowdhury.
The statement came amid various flight tickets in political party leaders, workers’ names have gone viral which were claiming that the mentioned persons are leaving state on Assembly poll result day. Such rumours have been spread against both CPI-M and BJP leaders and activists in the post poll Tripura.
Tripura Election was held on 16th February and the result awaits 2nd March.
