KHOWAI, Feb 21 (TIWN): Counting of votes in the state general election is going to be held on 2nd March. In view of this counting of votes, the returning officers of the three assembly constituencies of Khowai sub-division held a meeting with the representatives of all political parties at the conference hall of the SDM.

The meeting was attended by three returning officers of three assembly constituencies along with sub-divisional police officers and OCs of two police stations.

Besides, representatives of BJP, CPI-M, Tipra Matha, IPFT parties were present in the meeting. The representatives of the political parties were informed about the Election Commission of India’s rules and guidelines regarding the counting of votes.
