AGARTALA, Feb 21 (TIWN): CPI-M State Secretary Jitendra Chowdhury on Tuesday while addressing media in a press conference criticized BJP for its gesture to the victim family of murdered Dilip Sukla Das because of his political identity.
“A minimum condolence should have been given by the BJP”, said Chowdhury.
Jitendra Chowdhury also criticized the Chief Minister for his silence over the ongoing violence in the state amid his party is still ruling the Govt.
Chowdhury requested BJP leaders to stop provocations via press conferences for the sake of peaceful environment in the state.
Dilip Sukla Das was a CPI-M worker, murdered by BJP Panchayat Pradhan Krishna Kamal Das and his driver in Kalyanpur. This incident generated uproars among the opposition in the post poll Tripura.
