AGARTALA, Feb 21 (TIWN): CPI-M State Secretary Jitendra Chowdhury on Tuesday asked his party workers to refrain from any kind of provocation, saying, the action against any miscreant will be taken legally, not by people themselves. “BJP knows that it will not come to power and so in the middle of result publication, till 2nd March BJP is trying to create an unrest across the state. I appeal to my party workers, not to put step into such provocations and to resist themselves from all kinds of such works. You do not have to do anything. Law itself will take the action”, said Jitendra Chowdhury during his visit to Kalyanpur where CPI-M party worker Dilip Sukla Das was murdered by BJP Gram Panchayat Krishna Kamal Das and his driver.

Chowdhury said, such a crime reflects BJP’s barbarism and added to the list of BJP’s sins of last 5 years.

Jitendra Chowdhury along with other party leaders met Dilip Chandra Das’s family members and assured them that the family will be provided helps from all sides to overcome the loss, although nothing can fill up the loss of life of Dilip Sukla Das.

Police have arrested Panchayat Pradhan Dilip Sukla Das and his driver Tapas Das.
