AGARTALA, Feb 17 (TIWN): A fresh bomb was recovered from Vivekananda Awasan under NCC PS on Friday which caused panic among the residents.

The fresh bomb was spotted by the residents of Vivekananda Awasan on Friday morning. Residents of the Vivekananda Awasan said that workers of the ruling party BJP had brought the bomb to do political terror, but they were unable to continue political terror in the area.

Residents of Abasan alleged that the workers of the ruling BJP have been carrying out political terror in the area since before the 2023 elections. Residents of the housing complex complained that even after a long time passed after the incident of bomb recovery, the bomb squad and high officials of the police did not come to the spot except two constables of NCC police station.

After a long time, bomb squad personnel came and recovered the bomb. In this incident, intense panic spread among the residents of Vivekananda Awasan.
