AGARTALA, Feb 15 (TIWN): Tripura Infoway News (TIWN) Editor Saumen Sarkar on Wednesday appealed to the Opposition leaders, workers to save booths instead of sleeping tonight.
TIWN Editor asked the opposition to keep sharp eye on whether any rigging panning is being taken further by BJP during this time, just like all other previous polls.
Reminding how BJP workers forcibly entered into booths and the video evidence which shows how an old woman’s vote was given by BJP worker against her will, exposing the entire poll rigging process, Editor appealed the voters to stay strong enough to fight such situations and to make sure that their fundamental voting right is secured.
“Remember this is not an ordinary poll. It is the last chance to save the Democracy in Tripura”, said the Editor.
“If you think everything is going to be fine tomorrow, then you are living in fools’ paradise. But regardless of any situation, any threat, cast your vote tomorrow. That’s your last chance to beat the 5 years of torture and attacks”, Editor said.
