AGARTALA, Feb 13 (TIWN): BJP office was allegedly vandalized by Congress on Monday ahead of the Election. On the other hand, Congress’s vehicle was attacked, driver beaten up by BJP asking him to stop campaigning. The driver said, at first BJP workers stopped him, decreased the volume and then ranksacked the vehicle. Centering these two incidents tension erupted in the area, whereas BJP candidate Papia Datta threatened Congress MLA Sudip Barman that she will enter his home if next time such incidents take place. Statewide scattered incidents of violence are coming out. In Udaipur, a CPI-M worker was severely injured and in Mohanpur Congress candidate was attacked.

In Usha Bazar, another clash occurred which  left 6 persons injured.
