AGARTALA, Feb 11 (TIWN): In the wake of Tripura Assembly poll 2023, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday addressing Ambassa rally stated that Tripura has already emerged as a developed state under the five years of BJP rule. Modi said, as promised by him before 2018 Assembly poll, Tripura was given a HIRA which means H for Highways, I for Internet, Road for Roadways, A for Airways. Modi cited about the International Airport which was inaugurated in Agartala. Then he said, “It is the time for development of Tripura at the International level. My Tripura is now emerging as a Global point. We are working to expand the water connectivity with Tripura and other Northeast states with the International routes”.
“Waterways connections will strengthen trades between Northeast states with Bangladesh and Bhutan like countries”, said Modi.
PM Modi further said that Tripura has received a peaceful environment under the BJP.
Modi said, “Before few years, nobody could imagine seeing any opposition flag in this state. If any opposition flag was put, then the house was burnt but now the situation has fully changed. I believe people will vote for the development only”.
