AGARTALA, Feb 1 (TIWN): A CPI-M supporter was beaten up by BJP workers in Majlishpur.

The victim could identify two of them named Biplab Debnath and Pranab Das. Both are BJP workers under Majlishpur constituency.

The victim alleged that he was kidnapped from his house and taken to a tea garden area. He was beaten up severely and then released. He said, because he is a CPI-M supporter that’s why the attack on him was organized.
