UDAIPUR, Jan 4 (TIWN): On Tuesday footage came from Udaipur where bikes, shops are set on fire.
Initially, those videos were released by BJP claiming CPI-M has done though no evidence could be shown. Only BJP workers were present on the spot.
Allegation was raised against BJP for doing such things intentionally to create a tense situation ahead of election.
However, today CPI-M MLA Ratan Bhowmik in a statement rubbished allegations against the CPI-M saying CPI-M has no role to play there and BJP has intentionally done that to create a riot and Hindus and Muslims.
Earlier, in Jamjuri similar incident occurred when a mosque was set on fire. But locals of Udaipur never encouraged the propaganda of hate. Ratan Bhowmik has appealed people to stay away from such communal traps.
