AGARTALA, Nov 28 (TIWN): Under Hira Regime safety and security for women remain under a big question as crime against women is increasing day by day. A woman identified as Lakshmi Das (43), her dead body in half naked state was recovered on Monday morning just 200 meters away from her house in Dharmanagar area.

Witnessing her dead body the Police was informed and accordingly the Police rushed to the spot and started investigating the incident. Along with the Police the Forensic team including the Senior officials rushed to the spot for investigation.

Talking with the locals it is known she has been missing for the past 4 months, and also a missing diary case was filed.

One after other rape case incidents and the increasing crimes against women declares that the women in state are unsafe.
