AGARTALA, Nov 27 (TIWN): Amid Chief Minister Manik Saha’s tall claims about improved Law and Order situation in the state, theft incidents have spiked up over the last few years.
A fast food shop was looted by thieves at Lal Bahadur Chowmuhani, devastating a small-scale businessman.
Police were informed but even after having SMART City’s CCTV cameras, thieves remained untraced.
Thefts, robberies, and violence have drastically increased in the state along with record numbers of unregistered cases. Police in maximum cases do not take even the GD entry making people’s lives miserable and helpless.
