AGARTALA, Nov 24 (TIWN): Police of Irani police station arrested six Bangladeshi citizens who came illegally from Bangladesh.
OC Jatindra Das of Irani police station said that six people were arrested from Tilabazar area on Thursday, November 24th.
Jatindra Das, OC of Irani Police Station, said that the police personnel led by Police Officer Abu Awal of Irani Police Station were checking vehicles as usual in Baburbazar area on Thursday afternoon. At that time, news came through secret sources that some unknown people were moving into Tilabazar area. After receiving this information, police personnel led by police officer Abu Awal went to Tilabazar area and interrogated six unknown citizens.
Immediately, the six citizens were taken to the Irani police station and after the police personnel led by Irani police station OC Jatindra Das started continuous questioning, the six citizens admitted that they were Bangladeshi citizens. They came illegally from Bangladesh to Tilabazar, India late at night on November 23rd. The six Bangladeshi citizens who came illegally are Shamim Mia, Md. Suhag Kazi, Sowell Rana, Al Amin Rahman, Farooq Hossain, Swan Mia.
