AGARTALA, Nov 24 (TIWN): In the name of COVID vaccine survey, a group of fraudsters are running in the state. Reportedly an unknown man with Heath Service’s I-card rushed to a house in Jogendranagar area and in the name of survey he met with the house owner named Sanjib Pal (a garment trader in Shakuntala). After meeting with him the Health Service’s employee took Sanjib Pal’s Mobile and forward a message to another No. in the name of COVID vaccine survey.
After a certain period of time Sanjib Pal noticed Rs 3:50 lakhs money deducted from his FD account at Bandhan Bank several ways and the entire Processing occurred between 11:45 AM-2 PM on Wednesday, immediately he rushed to Bandhank Bank and blocked his account.
Later, Sanjoy Pal filed a case at West PS and also complaint raised at Crime Branch.
It is known that before Durga Puja Sanjoy Pal Fixed an amount of Rs 7.22 Lakh at Bandhan Bank from where he (the fraudster) loot amount of Rs 3:50 lakhs.
