AGARTALA, Nov 23 (TWIN): STGT Qualified candidates on Wednesday were arrested by Police after they demanded jobs for them on the basis of the massive teachers’ crisis in Tripura school. But Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath has nothing to state new as he is overconfident about state is providing “Quality Education”. Often he compared Tripura’s Education with first world countries’ Education system whereas, in reality, Tripura Education system has remained for its namesake due to the teachers’ crisis, lack of infrastructure. Guardians of Bishramganj Class-XII school slammed Education Minister saying, “Please come here and check through your own eyes, what is happening here. Does school means just coming and going after having food inside the school ?”
A viral video of a student’s mother is on social media begging the Govt to develop the school condition.
Tripura has over 20000 vacant posts and with 10323 teachers’ termination, the schools have remained dry due to shortages of teachers.
In such a condition over thousands of TET qualified are protesting to get jobs before the Election but the Govt has no concern. However, in speeches the leaders of the BJP party do not leave opportunity to hype the Education setup claiming Tripura is emerging as No-1 in Education system.
