AGARTALA, Oct 27 (TIWN): Tutan Biswas, a 43-year-old man’s dead body was recovered from a water body in Teliamura.

Tutan Biswas, son of Sujit Baran Biswas, a resident of Teliamura Gamaibari area.

The deceased’s wife complained that someone called Tutan Biswas from home at around 3:30 pm, on Wednesday afternoon.

Getting the phone call Tutan went out of home but did not return. Later, family members including his wife searched him all night, but they got no trace of him.

Later, today i.e. Thursday, the body of the person was found floating in the water of the canal, which is located at a little distance from his house.

Police of Teliamura police station rushed to the spot after receiving the information about the incident. The police came and recovered the dead body and on initial investigation found that the man was bleeding from the ear. Later, the police recovered the dead body and took it to Teliamura Sub-Divisional Hospital for post-mortem.

Turan Biswas’s family alleged that he was murdered and requested police to investigate the case seriously.
