KADAMTALA, Oct 26 (TIWN): Amid the “Sushashan” claims of the BJP Govt, a youth was targeted for attack led by political muscle in Kadamtala after he refused to pay Kali puja donations.

Police have failed to take any action against the attacker as the accused is Mandal President. An FIR has been lodged against the Mandal President and two others.

Allegation raised that on Monday, when people were celebrating Kali Puja, Ikbal Bahar Chowdhury was going to Kalagang area to see his friend’s father.

On that time, two BJP’s Juba Morcha members Amitabha Nath and Santosh Nath stopped his car and sought puja donation. Ikbal said he had no money with him. The youths then looted his Rs. 6000 which he had kept for his friend’s father’s treatment.

But even after the complaint, no action was taken against the Mandal President.
