AGARTALA, Oct 26 (TIWN): Based on secret sources information, the police of Belonia PS detained a drug dealer with 10 grams of heroin from Amjad Nagar area under Bilonia PS.

Reportedly, on Tuesday evening, the police of Bilonia PS received information that the house of a person named Abdul Rob in Amjad Nagar area had stocked drugs items at his home. Based on that source's information, a search operation was conducted at Abdul Rob’s house under the leadership of SI Sanjiv Debbarma, SI Mridul Majumder, SI Champa Das of Bilonia PS.

Heroin weight 10 grams was found after a long search, Abdul Rob was immediately arrested and brought him to Bilonia PS.

Paritosh Das, OC of Bilonia PS briefed the information in detail in this regard. He said that a case has been taken up against Abdul Rob under the NDPS Act, and the accused will be sent to Belonia District and Sessions Court on Wednesday.

Besides, the demand raised from the local conscious community that if the administration continues the campaign against the drug dealers properly, then it will be possible to save the youth addicted towards drugs and from the path of destruction.
