Reportedly, the police searched Kesto Tripura’s house located in Ward No.-5 of ST Para on the National Highway on Saturday morning and recovered 210 kg of dry cannabis. It is known that Kesto Tripura's son Satya Tripura is a driver of a container vehicle so he brought dry Cannabis from Agartala and dropped them off at his house to be smuggled into Assam. But at the end his plan is destroyed, as after receiving secret sources information, Churaibari PS OC Dhruvajyoti Debbarma arrived there at night with a team and recovered the dry Cannabis and brought them to the police station.

The OC said the market value of the seized ganja is would be around Rs 20 lakh,

However, no one was arrested as the smugglers escaped from the spot after spotting Police at their house.

The police operation is continuing to nab the house owner.
