AGARTALA, Sep 24 (TIWN): Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath himself propagated that the 10323 teachers issue should be raised in the Assembly but on 23rd September, the Assembly session started but the issue was not raised on that day. In protest, the 10323 teachers regardless of any organizational identity will organize a rally on 26th September. The teachers said that they will go into further protests if their issue is not taken seriously by the Govt.
10323 teachers lost their jobs after Tripura Govt sacked teachers based on clubbed judgment, though 10323 teachers have not received any termination letter yet.
Moreover, 10323 teachers received their RTI reply from the Supreme Court which stated that not all 10323 teachers were parts of the judgment but so far from Education Director to the Minister, nobody gave a clear statement on this RTI issue. The terminated teachers recently gheraoed Education dept but no final answer was given by the Director.
As in the Assembly also, their issue was neglected and remained undiscussed, 10323 teachers have announced to go in protest on 26th September under “Mahakaran Abhijan”.
