AGARTALA, Sep 22 (TIWN): Based on secret sources information the West PS Police detained two thieves last night from Chandrapur area. After detaining the two thieves it was known they are the residents of Bangladesh.

The two thieves were identified as Jayed Hasan Rakib and the other was identified as Md. Suman Seikh. After primary investigation it is known they had entered Tripura through Assam illegally with an intention of Property crime.

Various tools which were used to attempt the theft incident were recovered from them.

The SDPO Sadar- Ajoy Kumar Das said that Police’s night patrolling has increased for providing tight security.
