AGARTALA, Sep 17 (TIWN): ‘God is one, Religions are many’, this popular proverb has once again got a place in the city of Agartala where a Muslim man named Khayer Mia, observed Viswakarma puja at Dhaleswar.

Local said, he is observing this day for many years with full devotion.

On being asked, Khayer Mia said, “I get happiness by organizing the puja. I feel peaceful. Local people helped me a lot and gave me donations. That much I can only say”.

Khayer Mia is a member of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sngha (BMS). Hindus and Muslims both communities people participated in the festival at Dhaleswar. Food distribution was also held in the evening.
