AGARTALA, Sep 14 (TIWN): Massive teachers’ crisis has been continuing in Tripura schools led the school students to lodge protest almost everyday. On Wednesday, Dhanbilash HS School students blocked road protesting against teachers’ crisis and the transfer of a teacher. Dhanbilash Higher Secondary School is located in Dhanbilash Gram Panchayat area under Chandipur block of Kailasahar subdivision. Students of the school said that the school has been running for a long time with only seven teachers. Out of these seven teachers, only two are subject teachers. The school needs more subject teachers. The school does not have a physical instructor teacher. Students said that despite the problems in the school, the headmaster Tarun Kanti Chakma was running the school well, but he is now transferred.
Demanding the withdrawal of the transfer order, students staged a massive protest.
When the parents approached BJP MLA Sudhanshu Das in this regard, MLA Sudhanshu Das informed the district education officer was requested to cancel the order. But after almost 5 days there is no cancellation of the transfer order.
