AGARTALA, Sep 13 (TIWN): BJP’s bike gang attempted to provoke violence in massive and pre-announced though yesterday night at the last moment police canceled the rally. However, CPI-M held the rally and successfully completed it. Police gave protection and stopped the BJP goons, though no hooligan of the BJP party was arrested. “Today robberies, theft are increasing every day. Due to electricity problems, people are suffering. No promise was fulfilled either its 10323 issue or Govt employees’ 7th Pay Commission. Students are bound to block road due to teachers’ crisis”, said Pabitra Kar. Tripura’s law and order deteriorating especially due to increasing political tensions. In Khayerpur, today CPI-M organized a rally that was pre-announced. The rally started in due time but BJP miscreants created disruptions and provoked violence. During the tense hours, many were injured including senior citizens, and hospitalized.
