AGARTALA, Sep 9 (TIWN): Tripura InfoWay News (TIWN) Editor Saumen Sarkar in a social media platform expressed concerns about the radical criminalization of Indian politics, said, Tripura InfoWay News was launched in 2013 to fight against the criminals in the system. “Tripura InfoWay is the only nonprofit media in Tripura and its job is to give voice to the voiceless. Right now in Tripura people can’t raise their voice and on behalf of the people, I am presenting them”, said Sarkar.
“Media is the fourth pillar of democracy and to the society media has a roleplay. In politics, 90% people are criminals, corrupt right now. In almost all states, the scenario is same. Our target is filtering the system as much as possible”, said Sarkar.
“As media our work is to show the truth and open public eyes but the action, reaction should be done by the people”, added the Editor.
