AGARTALA, Aug 24 (TIWN): Public handed over three youths to the police on suspicion of fraud. The incident took place on Wednesday in Rangkhal Para area under Teliamura police station.
Allegedly for the past few days some youths from outside the state have been cheating in Rankhal Para and its surrounding areas. According to local residents, since the past few days, the villagers have been buying broiler chicks from the youths at a high price as they assured that the chickens are of very high quality. It is alleged that broiler chickens were put artificial colors on their bodies by these frauds.
Later, the locals caught the three youths and handed them over to the police of Teliamura police.
The names of the three youths are Manju Alam Mir, Saidul Piada, Mursid Gayen.
