AGARTALA, Aug 23 (TIWN): During a search operation at Naka Point near Ambassa Bet Bagan on Monday night, the police of Ambassa police station seized 751 kg of dry ganja from a temporary chamber inside a container vehicle number NL-02-AA-0078.

Meanwhile, sub-divisional police officer Suman Majumder and OC Anupam Das rushed to the spot.

The Sub-Divisional Police Officer said that the police had information from a confidential source and accordingly more police were deployed at Naka Point.

Meanwhile, the arrested persons will be handed over to Dhalai District and Sessions Court seeking police remand tomorrow and a case under NDPS Act will be taken against him.
