Tripura Celebrates Independence Day with full ardor : CM Manik Saha hoisted National Flag at Assam Rifles Ground

AGARTALA, Aug 15 (TIWN): Along with the entire nation, Northeast state Tripura too has celebrated Independence Day with full enthusiasm on Monday. Governor Satyadev Narayan Arya paid tribute to the freedom fighters at Gandhighat and hoisted the national flag. Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath hoisted national flag at Secretariat and Chief Minister Manik Saha attended the main programs at CM quarter and Assam Rifles ground.
Political parties also have celebrated the 75th anniversary of Indian freedom with full enthusiasm and in all party headquarters, and local party offices national flag was raised.
Schools, and offices celebrated this day whereas children performed colouful presentations of cultural programs.
