AGARTALA, August 13 (TIWN): A fire broke out at Shantanu Dev's electrical shop on the opposite side of Khoai Fire Service at around 12:30 on Friday night.

Noticing the Fire, the Fire Department Personnel continued to try to extinguish the fire, also they called the Power Department office to disconnect the power supply in the shop but no one picked up the phone.

Later, a staff was sent to the Power Department office to inform them to disconnect the power supply. However, the Power was disconnected later but it is said if the Power was disconnected in time then the damage amount will not be high.
