AGARTALA, Aug 3 (TIWN): Over pathetic shape of Bagbasa Tri Junction area of Dharmanagar subdivision, local people have blockade road with a demand to repair the pathetic road on Wednesday. Due to road blockade traffic system was disrupted, many vehicles were stuck on both sides of the road.

Meanwhile, after receiving the news of the incident the officials of the concerned Department rushed at the scene. The locals complained that several potholes has created on the road and for a long time water has accumulated in the huge potholes on the road after rain and due to the bad condition of the road, it’s impossible to drive through this road.

The official tried to bring the situation under control by talking to the road blockers. The road blockers later lifted the road block after 2 hours of road blockade when the officials of PWD and the OC assured that the road would be repaired immediately.

Meanwhile, locals strictly stated that if the road is not repaired soon then the road blockade will continue.
