AGARTALA, Aug 1 (TIWN): Chief Minister Manik Saha on Monday inspected the ongoing lighthouse project in Agartala’s Border Gol Chakkar area amid allegations of delaying the project.
“I have found some issues here but at any cost, PM Modi’s dream project can not be delayed. If other states can complete the project, why can’t we?”, asked CM Manik Saha.
“Over 900 people have already paid advanced money for that. I have ordered to speed up the work. Very soon, I have to go to Delhi to meet PM Modi and this flat’s issue will be raised there”, said CM Manik Saha told media who was accompanied by Chief Secretary, Urban Development Director, AMC Mayor, DGP, Minister Manoj Kanti Deb.
CM has asked the contractor to complete the project within 6 months citing that in Chennai the project has already been completed.
