AGARTALA, July 26 (TIWN): Bulldozing opposition parties offices, leaders’ statues are not new in Tripura under the BJP. On Tuesday a sub-judice matter was violated by State Govt one day ahead of the Court’s hearing and bulldozed Communist backed Employees’ office there. Reacting to the incident, CPI-M State Secretary Jitendra Chowdhury said, “Such incidents are not seen in a democratic nation but in Afghanistan that kinds of incidents happen. They do not care about Court’s order and that’s why one day ahead of the Court’s hearing, they are doing this. We look forward to get final verdict in Public’s Court in 2023. Only 200 days after left for the next Assembly Election”.
Jitendra Chowdhury further stated, “This office was under lease for 30 years and the lease was expired that true but the matter is sub-judice. Moreover, BJP has party offices on Govt lands. From hospitals to school all are made in Govt lands. But this is the democracy of BJP”.
