AGARTALA, July 25 (TIWN): On various demands Anganwadi workers and helpers placed a deputation to the CDPO of Teliamura on Monday.

The Anganwadi workers raised demand that to regularise their Jobs, to pay equal salary according to the equal work, to provide gratuity, to provide gratuity, to increase the Job tenure up to 65. The Anganwadi workers demanded that according to Supreme Court’s Verdict given on April 25 gratuity and Pension to be provided after retirement.

A delegation of five members handed over the deputation to the CDPO and they are hopeful that Govt will take necessary steps for their benefits.

However, now it has remained to be seen whether the Govt will take necessary initiative or not for   benefits of Anganwadi workers.
