GANDACHERA, July 14 (TIWN): Common men are suffering everyday due to the miserable condition of roadways in Gandachera’s Raishyabari road. It has been at least 5 years that the road was not repaired. It leads to massive suffering for the daily goers, patients, students and office-goers. Local people alleged, that due to the road’s broken condition not only rainy days but regular journeys have turned tough for the people and especially taking the patients to the hospitals are most difficult situations for them to handle. From old persons to delivery patients all are suffering due to the hole-full path there. Although the local authority was informed many times but nothing happened.

Back in 2018, Tripura Govt increased VAT, and imposed cess promising roads will be smoother and better than ever before but what happened to the fund, no authority is now here to answer.

Local people have criticized the PWD for its roleplay. New construction which is going on at snails space is allegedly under heavy corruption and poor maintenance work is going on. As a result there is no hope among the people that they will ever get any permanent solution to this problem.
