AGARTALA, July 3 (TIWN): Followed by a massive rally, CPI-M and other Left Front parties on Friday submitted a nomination for Bordowali and Agartala-6 constituencies. The CPI-M’s rally was massive, participated by thousands of people. After the rally, the candidates Krishna Majumder for Agartala-6 constituency and Raghunath Sarkar for Bordowali constituency filed the nomination. Communist Left Front on Monday had announced four candidates’ names for the upcoming by-polls, appealing the people to vote for the Left Front to ensure that the people are with truth and democracy.

The candidates in four constituencies are : 1) Krishna Majumder (Agartala-6), 2) Town Bordowali (Raghunath Sarkar), 3) Sailendra Chandra Nath (Jubarajnagar), 4) Anjan Das (Surma). CPI-M leader, ex-MP Narayan Kar has announced the candidates names.

Tripura by-polls will be held in four constituencies on 23rd June and the result will be declared on 26th June.
