AGARTALA, Oct 19 (TIWN): A video ran viral on social media where Tripura BJP MLA Tofajjal Hossain was seen praising BJP State President, MP Rajib Bhattacharjee for releasing MP fund for development, whereas he rebuked BJP MP Biplab Deb and ex-MP Pratima Bhowmik for refusing him to distribute fund. Rajib Bhattacharjee himself was present on the dias and was spotted trying to stop Hossain from saying those lines but Hossain continued to speak.
One day after the incident, Bhattacharjee told the media that there would be severe disciplinary punishment against Tofajjal Hossain for anti-party activity.
He said, nobody in BJP is allowed to talk against their own party leaders and since Hossain has violated the rule, he would face action.
