AGARTALA, Oct 19 (TIWN): In a surprising turn within the BJP’s own ranks, party MLA Tafajjal Hossain launched a scathing attack on BJP MPs Biplab Kumar Deb and Pratima Bhowmik during a public gathering. Addressing the crowd, Tafajjal openly criticised the two senior leaders for their alleged neglect in supporting local development initiatives.

“When Pratima Bhowmik was MP, we demanded some money for development but she never gave us, and the same thing happened when requested for the same to our another MP Biplab Kumar Deb,” said Tafajjal, drawing murmurs from the audience.

What made the remarks even more striking was the presence of BJP State President Rajib Bhattacharjee on the same stage during the outburst. The incident has sparked discussions within party circles, exposing visible cracks and rising discontent within the ruling party’s own fold.
