AGARTALA, April 7 (TIWN): Amid massive job crisis, and unemployment problems in Tripura, Congress leader Sudip Roy Barman has raised the question, when Chief Minister Biplab Deb and ICAT Minister Sushanta Chowdhury both were giving different job data in statements, whom the public would trust? Sudip Barman was addressing the gathering in Agartala which was organized by the Congress party to protest against fuel price hikes. Barman said, “Under PM Dr. Manmohan Singh highest price of petrol was highest 62 and diesel 50 and now it has hit 109 and diesel also doubled almost. This is the Acchee Din of BJP”.

“Under Achhe Din zamana over 4 crores, people lost jobs. It was said that yearly 2 crores of jobs will be given and same was promised in Tripura too saying, all vacant posts will be filled up but surprisingly, various leaders are giving various kinds of statements. On December 4, 2022 CM Biplab Deb claimed for giving 23,001 jobs whereas recently ICAT Minister Sushanta Chowdhury stated only 4,500 jobs under regular posts were given and including contractual and outsourcing it will be around 11,000. Whose data is correct? Fact is both are lying…….only few jobs were given under TET”, said Sudip Barman.
