AGARTALA, March 14 (TIWN): Terminated 10323 teachers who were promised before 2018 Election by BJP about a constitutional amendment for ‘permanent solution’ of the teachers’ problems, are now under toruble and jobless as BJP Govt has taken an opposite turn from the given promise.
On Monday, the BJP Govt again has met with a fresh controversy after treating 10323 teachers as terrorists or rioters. Thousands of police force deployed at the Astabal stadium as the teachers announced to march towards the Secretariat to meet CM Biplab Deb with their demands on 'permenent solution'.
Police were not allowing the terminated teachers to move towards the Secretariat as Chief Minister Biplab Deb has not agreed yet to meet them.
The protest was organized by Joint Movement Committee of the 10323 Teachers. It was announced at press conference and the programme was conducted as per schedule.
