AGARTALA, March 13 (TIWN): Over the Privatization Trade union and along with other organisations like CITU called for a strike on 28th and 29th March. Talking on the strike CPIM state leader Manik Dey said that this Govt is selling Country’s resources and making India a Poverty country. He also said that in this time crores of people lost their work and were terminated and there is no chance to get a job newly as the market recession is going on.
To overcome the recession the central govt has not taken any initiative, said Dey before the media. Dey raised the issue of price hike of necessary commodities including petrol, diesel, and gas.
Dey also stated that the pressure of Tax has been imposed on common people by considering the rich people, over this situation resentment has been generated among unemployed youths.
Dey mocked this Govt (BJP) saying they are failing to keep their given words as per promises.
This strike is for the benefit of the common people, said Manik Dey.
