AGARTALA, March 11 (TIWN): Tripura Govt employees who have been serving under Forest Department for more than a decade are suffering massively as their salary yet not credited for moths.
Raising this issue including regularising them, the workers went to place deputation to the ‘Aranya Bhawan’ at Gurkhabasti on Thursday. But it is alleged that no officials were present during Office hours to receive the deputation and centering this the workers held protest and to control the situation NCC PS police rushed to the spot.
The workers said their salary is Rs 7500 which is very less to run the family and while this Govt (BJP) came into power the Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Debbarma promised that no Govt employees will receive below Rs 12,000.
4 years have crossed of this ruling BJP Govt but there is no similarity in reality as per the given promise. Now the workers besides regularisation also demanded to hike their salary-hikes.
It is known total of 363 workers are working under the Permanent Labour post
