AGARTALA, Feb 25 (TIWN): On January 4, Tripura Govt employees and students were brought to fill up Astabal stadium but the rally of PM Modi was fully political where BJP’s flag and slogans were raised constantly. The biggest evidence that it was BJP's rally is that no opposition MLA was invited to join and address the rally which proves that it was a political rally under Govt funds. Criticism triggered how in the name of PM Modi’s rally, public funds were wasted including carrying transport fares for the party workers. However, reacting to the criticism, Biplab Deb today said, "If not in Modi’s rally, where should the fund be utilized? In LC meetings?"
