AGARTALA, Feb 24 (TIWN): CPI-M organized a massive gathering in Astabal Ground ahead of 23rd State Conference on 25th and 26th Feb. Addressing the People there, CPI-M State Secretary Jitendra Chowdhury targeting ruing BJP Govt said that in last 47 months Democracy was murdered, no law and order are now existing, no jobs for youths and in village and towns areas people safety remains nowhere.
“The BJP-IPFT aligned Govt made the state Tripura a cremation center”, said Chowdhury over the ongoing violence.
Chowdhury also said that in the past 47 months the state has turned into a “corruption den”.
“BJP’s focus is to how to loot Democracy, to loot votes, and to snatch public rights. The resources were made by state people, like Human resources, cultural resources and other resources demolished by BJP govt in the past 47 months to loot in other states by recruiting agents from other states”, Jitendra Chowdhury added.
“Total 22 CPI-M workers have been dead in the past 47 months, hundreds of people who speak for Democracy were attacked. Not only the CPI-M workers but also the ruling party members have been attacked”, said Chowdhury.
“Not only Farmers, Labourers, Khet Mazdoor but also the Doctors, policemen, professors, Lawyers were not protected from the Attack of BJP gooligans”, added Chowdhury.
