AGARTALA, Feb 22 (TIWN): Chief Minister Biplab Deb has slammed the critics and people who dared to call his father a ‘mad person’ and also did the same mockery to him.
Addressing in a cricket tournament, Deb said, “Today, I am standing as the Chief Minister of Tripura from this party’s root”.
"I and my Father were labeled as Mad persons but today I am standing in front of you as the Chief Minister because I am rooted in this party from 1969", said Biplab Deb.
Basically, Deb wanted to prove that BJP is in his DNA claiming his father was a leader of Jana Sangha (from which country it was not said) in 1969 and today Biplab Deb is the CM from BJP. On the contrary, Biplab Deb earlier used to exemplify how being a ‘newcomer’, BJP gave him a chance in Politics without any experience. Such a statement came as the ‘Adi BJP’ members are all set to quit the party including Ministers amid the ongoing BJP’s crisis.
