AGARTALA, Feb 10 (TIWN): Kalyanpur Fire Department Jeep Vehicle register number- TR01 1185 was registered on October 7, 1996 and it expired on December 31, 2011. Despite having expired, the vehicle of Govt Department is still running after being pushed by office staff.

Question is, how a Fire Department vehicle could yet run without registration and insurance where driving without legal papers is Punishable?

While inquiring about the incident, the staff did not want to open their mouths directly but indirectly wanted to point out that due to the negligence of officials in charge of the department, they are roaming with risk in the vehicle.

If the initiative is not taken accordingly then an anytime terrible accident may happen and if it happens who will take responsibility for the staff's lives?
