AGARTALA, Feb 9 (TIWN): Madrasa teachers are going through tough situations, as the teachers are serving in Schools but with half salary, since past 5 months raising this issue along with other 5 points the Madrassa teacher placed deputation to School Inspector.

The demands were raised- to provide equal pay for equal work, to bring 129 Madrasa School in grant-in-aid and to provide salary as per the multiple factor 2.25, 2.57.

Demand raised that if any teacher died during work then the teacher should be compensated with Rs 25 lakhs.

Demand was also raised to appoint Madrasa teachers in vacant posts and to provide higher scale as per Educational qualification.
