AGARTALA, Feb 8 (TIWN): Paralysed law and order indulging anti-socials to organize crimes, resulting in a terror situation has generated state-wide. Reportedly, a mother and daughter, residents of Bishalgarh area were on the way on the train from Agartala to Garjee. After reaching Garjee rail station the mother and daughter asked a stranger about a road to Paikhola area to attend a marriage programme. Within a few minutes, the unknown man brutally beat up the mother and daughter and snatched ornaments and other belongings from them.

Later the Police, after getting information, rescued and brought them to Tepania Hospital from where they were referred to Agartala GBP Hospital for better treatment.

 The injured mother identified as Jayanti Ghosh and the daughter identified as Isha Ghosh. They are presently undergoing treatment at Agartala GBP hospital.  

Talking with the family it is known Jayanti Ghosh’s condition is critical.
